PCR Pfu Master Mix II
The PCR Pfu Master Mix II is a ready-to-use mixture for amplification of specific DNA fragments. It can be used in place of the single reagent for virtually all PCR application. The mixes contain Pfu DNA polymerase and other components for PCR with the exception of template and primers. Pfu DNA polymerase is isolated from the Pyrococus furiosus. The multifunctional thermostable enzyme possesses both of 5’ to 3’ DNA polymerase and 3’ to 5’ exonuclease activity which results in a 12-fold increase in fidelity of DNA synthesis over Taq DNA polymerase. This not only saves valuable time in the laboratory, but also reduces the number of pipetting and reagent handling errors. The PCR Pfu Master Mix II is supplied as a 5X concentrated ready-to-use mix, that is a mixture of recombinant 1.5 u of Pfu DNA polymerase, reaction buffer, MgSO4 (final concentration 2 mM), 250 μM dNTP and enzyme stabilizer in a 25 μl 1X PCR mixture.Store at -20°C.
